In accordance with the requirements of the Open Public Meeting Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., adequate notice of the meeting has been provided by posting of notice at North Hunterdon High School and Voorhees High School, delivery by facsimile to the Hunterdon County Democrat, Star- Ledger, to the municipal clerks of Bethlehem Township, Califon Borough, Town of Clinton, Clinton Township, Franklin Township, Glen Gardner Borough, Hampton Borough, High Bridge Borough, Lebanon Borough, Lebanon Township, Tewksbury Township and Union Township as well as other interested parties.

  2. Audit Presentation - Paul Freda of Suplee, Clooney & Company of Westfield, NJ – Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2017.  Copies of the 2016-2017 audit synopsis are provided at this meeting for public review.

Call for motion to approve the receipt and acceptance of the CAFR, the Auditor’s Management Report, and the corrective action plan (not required), for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017 as prepared by the District’s appointed Certified Public Accounting firm, Suplee, Clooney & Company of Westfield, NJ
  1. Opportunity for Public Comment on Agenda Items
  1. During this portion of the meeting, the public is invited to address the Board with questions or comments on agenda items.  The public is requested to sign the register provided for this purpose and to state their name, address, and direct their comments to the Board President.  While all comments will be considered and a response will be forthcoming if and when appropriate, the Board will not respond to the speakers at the time of their appearance.  The public comment period will be a maximum of thirty minutes in length unless there are unusual circumstances.  Those appearing will be allocated three minutes to speak and no one will be permitted to speak twice until those wishing to speak have had a turn.

Authorization to accept the 2017-2018 Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) allocation as follows: Title IA - amend the ESEA Title 1 application for the 2017-2018 school year from $51, 934 to $68,582 which includes $249 from the 2016-2017 school year and a transfer from the Title II in the amount of 16,648.  These additional funds will be allocated to the 100-100 ($16,897), budget lines
  6. Addition of Bayada Home Health Care, Inc. of Moorestown, NJ to the professional consultants list to provide nursing services for the 2017-2018 school year, fees for services are $54.50 per hour for a registered nurse and $44.50 for a licensed practical nurse
