The Albia Community School District is accepting sealed bids for the scoreboard that was previously located at the soccer/track field adjacent to the High School. The top portion with Blue Demons & Lady Dees has been removed. The height of the main part of the scoreboard is approximately 8’ x 20’. The scoreboard did work when last used and comes with the electronic controller. The Albia School District Wellness Committee will be holding a meeting on March 18, 2025 to review the District’s Wellness Policy. This will include the triennial review to meet State requirements. The committee will review the policy to ensure we are meeting all requirements and to make recommendations to the Board for updates. Request for Proposal for a Fixed Price Contract for providing food service management services to the Albia Community School District can be picked up at Albia Central Office, 701 Washington Ave East, Albia, IA, 52531 any time between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A required pre-proposal meeting will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Albia Central Office, 701 Washington Ave East, Albia, IA, 52531. Proposals are subject to all the conditions and specifications stated in the Request for Proposal and will be received at the Kendall Center, 701 Washington Ave East, Albia, IA, 52531 and shall be marked on the envelope “Food Service Management Proposal, #Alb-25-01”. Proposals will be received until April 8, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. for supplying Albia School Food Authority with food service management services during the 2025-2026 school year. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: Sealed bids for the Public Improvement Project titled “Albia

Community School District 2025 Building Envelope Improvements Project” will be received by

the Board Secretary of the Albia Community School District at the District Office, 701

Washington Ave E Albia, IA 52531, before 1 P.M. C.S.T. (according to the designated clock in

the District Office) on the Thursday December 5th, 2024 at which time they will be publicly

opened and read

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. on the Tuesday November 19 th , 2024 at

the Albia Junior/Senior High School. Bidders shall meet at the district office 701 Washington

Ave E, Albia, IA 52531. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory and specifications

will be distributed at this meeting.

Bidders will be required to provide a security deposit in the form of an approved Bid

Bond, cashiers or certified check, or certified share draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of

the base bid, including alternates, in a separate attached envelope. Bid security shall be made

payable to the Treasurer of the Albia Community School District. Performance Bond and Labor,

Material and Payment Bond will be required by the successful bidder in the full amount of the

contract. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the

date and hour set for receiving bids. To receive a set of specifications contact Brett Turner at
