Ask your child to place the three objects in order by length.

Locate the seven continents and four oceans on a map or globe. Draw a world map, as best you can, labeling the continents and oceans. Note: the map doesn’t have to be perfect. The important thing is that continents and oceans are correctly placed relative to each other (i.e., the Atlantic Ocean is to the east/right of the Americas).

Read for 20 minutes. Identify the problem and solution in the story. Write about it or draw a picture.

Write about your favorite superhero.

Write the alphabet and cut it apart. Can you make words with short and long vowel sounds? Try to make five of each.

is the difference between 7 and 5? Think addition.” Your child may say,

“What can I add to 5 to get 7?” or “5 plus what number is 7?” (2) Take turns giving pairs of numbers and finding the difference  between them using addition.
