Calendar/Number Sense Routine:

How many different ways can you add two numbers to get a sum of 20?

How do you know you have them all?

   If you can’t find a LOT of ways or to check yourself, here’s a hint.

There are 33 folded pieces of fabric in the picture. They were taken from a storeroom that had 97 folded pieces of fabric. How many folded pieces of fabric are left in the storeroom?

There are 3 vanilla cakes cut into slices.  Which one would you want to take a slice from?  WHY? Use math words to explain.

Take out a stuffed animal and practice saying the following:
