This past Sunday, John Jay Cheerleading hosted their second annual Patriot Palooza Game Day Classic! We welcomed 27 teams to our mat for a day of competition and fun. This year we decided to “Go Pink!” and dedicate our fundraising to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Hundreds of athletes and spectators signed our pink banner to honor those who are currently fighting breast cancer, those who have survived and those who we have tragically lost. This banner will be displayed in the halls of JJHS and we invite others to add to it.

$1300 in proceeds from our 50/50 raffle and pink event shirts was donated to BCRF on behalf of our program and members of our community who we have lost to breast cancer.

JJ Cheerleading would like to thank everyone who donated and supported this cause and we would like to remind everyone that early detection is our best defense against breast cancer. Take care of yourselves and stay healthy! 💞
