Destiny Quest and MyQuest
This feature is part of your general subscription so you can access it if your maintenance is up-to-date. It is a graphical interface for catalog searching. You can display your latest arrivals, top ten titles and Resource Lists:
Destiny Quest allows students to do a general search for a topic. The results appear like this (if you subscribe to Titlepeek for the cover art to show. You can also see OneSearch Results.
The Narrow Your Search box (in orange) allows students to specify criteria to narrow down their initial search: page length, series, Lexile, Author, etc.
Once students click on an individual title, they can check the status, read the summary, series information, etc. Destiny Quest also gives suggestions for further reading topics:
They can also do a virtual shelf browse to see what other titles are available on the topic nearby:
Destiny Quest will also showcase Visual Search Results and OneSearch Options (if you set them up in Access Levels for different patron types. Remember to do so for the public Guest login):

MyQuest
MyQuest allows students to take on an active role within DestinyQuest. They can keep track of what they are reading, see their circulation history, write reviews, rate books, recommend books to other users, place comments, etc.
MyQuest Features:
MyShelves
Students can keep track of their school library reading by dragging books they have read, are reading and what to read.
Students click on their shelves to peruse what they have read, rate books, and recommend them.
The individual title looks like this:
Students can request a hold, add it to their shelves, add it to a list, make a wish (Request), and recommend the book to another use. They can also click on the Reviews tab and write a review.
Note: You can edit all book reviews before they are posted. Comments between friends are not subject to review/editing before approval so decide if you want to enable this feature or not. You can see all comments posted in Patron Profile records in Circulation.
Friends
MyQuest allows students and teachers to make friend requests with one another at school and at other locations (if enabled):
Friends are allowed to notify one another when they update their shelves, write a review or rate a title. The friend can comment on this action if enabled.
You can, however, allow recommendations and status updates without comments.
