PRODUCTION

8:30 am - SHIFT A

  1. Gather all Hospitality Bins (Bin 1, Bin 2, Bin 3) in lobby (check van if missing)
  2. Prepare Hospitality Table
  1. Retrieve table from kitchen
  2. Set up in middle of lobby
  3. Cover with black tablecloth
  1. Prepare coffee
  1. Fill up container in rear kitchen with 70 cups of water (numbers on side)
  2. Bring container back to lobby and place on far left corner of the table.
  3. Scoop out 8 cups of coffee with a paper cup
  1. If preparing more or less coffee, the ratio of water to coffee should always be 10:1 plus 1 additional cup of coffee (e.g. if you have 70 cups of water, use 8 cups of coffee.)
  1. Place the stem (long metal rod) in the container
  2. Insert the coffee holder into the container
  3. Set the lid on top of the container
  4. Plug the coffee maker into the extension cord, then into the wall
  5. Turn the coffee maker on
  6. Wait 45 minutes for coffee to brew completely
  1. Clean plastic placemats and place on table (away from coffee)
  2. Set out food and drink supplies
  1. Paper cups
  2. Napkins
  3. (2) bagel trays
  4. (2) butter knives (for cream cheese)
  5. Mini trash bin
  6. Glass sugar container
  7. Sugar holder, and stirrers
  8. Tea and artificial sweeteners
  9. Refill the holder as needed
  10. Set aside extra cups and napkins under table for replenishing
  1. Prepare cold water jug
  1. Fill with ice and water from rear kitchen
  2. Place on right corner of table
  1. Prepare hot water kettle
  1. Fill with water from rear kitchen
  2. Plug in boiler (separate from kettle)
  3. Set kettle on top of the boiler and turn on
  1. Prepare bagels
  1. Coordinate bagel deliver with Coaching Captain
  2. Set a variety of bagels out on bagel trays
  3. Set cream cheese on table
  4. Set butter knives near cream cheese
  1. Collect deli items from Coaching Captain
  1. (2) Quart Grape Juice
  2. (1) Quart Whole Milk
  3. (1) Quart Half & Half
  1. Set out Milk and Half & Half near the coffee maker
  2. Make note of any items needing to be refilled for next week
  3. Greet people as they arrive
  4. Refill bagels as necessary
  5. Keep the table clean throughout
  6. Save enough food and drink for second service
  7. Remain in the lobby until about 10:15 am

11:00 am - SHIFT B

  1. Greet people as they arrive
  2. Refill bagels, cream cheese, water as necessary
  3. Turn the coffee maker off (it will stay hot for 1 hour)
  4. Remain in the lobby until 11:30 am.

12:00 pm - SHIFT C

  1. Start packing up during communion
  2. Set all bagels, cream cheese, and coffee aside
  3. Wipe down bagel trays, butter knives and plastic placemats
  4. Put all reusable items away in the bins
  5. Trash or give away extra Milk, Half & Half, Bagels and Cream Cheese
  6. Clean the coffee maker in back kitchen
  1. Dump grinds into trash and rinse in sink
  2. Clean thoroughly with soap and water
  3. Dry inside and outside of coffee maker
  4. Reassemble with all parts together
  5. Place in the navy blue bag with drawstring
  1. Take the bins and coffee maker to the side stage area near the doors
  2. Teardown Team will take everything to the van.
  3. Break down the table and put it in the back kitchen
