First Aid Course

- Pete to look at a first aid course for the club
- Warren is an accredited trainer, Pete to reach out.

- June 28, Date to be confirmed by Pete.
- Suggestion raised to to tack it onto the back of a meeting.

- Pushed out to 2023, exact date TBC

- Martin Warnake, first aid responder looking to offer a course for basic first aid tentatively for july.

- First Aid Refresher was a success

Feb 2023

Car Club storage

- Considering Options for a place.

- Laurie is considering doing some modifications including:

- $2000 Budget allowed for upgrade.
- Should look at upgrading to a bigger more accessible trailer.

- Membership payments will start to be done through Square, so email and mobile numbers are needed.
- New membership form (online) to be sent out in the next month.
- 2024 membership renewals will be open to be started once form is released.

13th May

Moonlight Meander and MMSC Memorial Trial.

The Event was Run and Won.
- 21/24VCRS, 7 Memorial Finished

- 1 stage cancellation due to a stage break in.

- Omega Radio handled the communication well but struggled a little for coverage.

- 999 Course car catching fire led to a cascading reassignment of vehicles and some confusion around responsibilities.

- Great to see some new competitors. Some Resident complaints about noise.

- Great Media Coverage.

- Cancelled due to the weather.

13 -15 people arrived and much was approved.

Family Fun Weekend

Great Day. 15 drivers. 6-7 cars.
Subaru didn’t catch fire. Bluebird did catch fire. Successful run in the commodore.

VCAS @ Parwan

- Pete will ensure timing gear, Radios will be sorted.

- Rob will Ensure Traffic lights and Trailer will be brought to the track.

- Start Setup.Check in.

- Officials to be wearing a vest.

- SP to look into catering.

It started off as a fresh and windy day but warmed up to be a beautiful day.

25 starters, all finished. 8 laps for everyone.

The day went well with no major incidents. The fundraiser sausage sizzle was a hit, special thanks to our two head chefs, Laurie and Joe (is his name Joe Pintarich? I can't believe I've forgotten his name).

All contestants I spoke to had a great day and had heaps of fun.

It was a wonderful Day Nighter, Jaryd and Rose finished 15th despite spending some time on the beach after getting lost.

Valley Stage

Last VRC, Pete and Simon 13th O/R in the VORC.  Rian ran 999 and finished w/o issue. Braedyn navigated to a 4th O/R.

Gary Howard and Rob Oneil both out officialling.

16-19th September

Winton

Daniel took the Pulsar out for a solid mid pack finish. There was a bit of a confusion with the lights.

VCAS/VCRS/Other Reports:

VCAS(Rose/Michael):

- Shepparton cancelled again due to weather 26 Nov, Swan Hill picked up the date.
- clubs are concerned about the First Aid side of safety around requirements

- Next Meeting -

VCRS(Pete/Dan):

- Class consolidation being looked into as well as min entry fee raising.


Rally Panel(Jaryd):

Rally Panel rep numbers looking slim for 2024.

- Spotify App may be required for 2024.

General business/ Matters for consideration:

Communications - Robs manual SMS was a bit flakey but kind of worked. Rian looked into Global SMS as an option and it was pretty straight forward.

Vic Rally Scrutiny Group has now officially ended, all remaining members are now meeting with the Scrutiny Panel.

News that Alan Haystack Johnston passed away today.
