Dear WMRHS Students and Parents,

We hope that this letter finds you in good spirits and excited about the upcoming school year.  The summer is going quickly and soon school will start.  The 2018-2019 school year will begin on September 4, 2018 at 7:45 am with the first morning bell.

If you need to make an appointment with your school counselor for scheduling changes, please call the counseling department at (603) 837-2528 to make an appointment, or e-mail Ms. Cannon (Students with last names A-J) mcannon@sau36.org or Ms. DeForge (Students with last names K-Z) bdeforge@sau36.org.  The counselors will be available from August 20 through August 24.

The drop/add period for this year will begin on September 4, 2018 and close on September 10, 2018.   No drop/adds for year-long or semester one classes will be allowed after this date.

If you are a CTE student taking classes in Littleton, you will begin attending classes on the first day of school, September 4.  The bus leaves the school at 7:10, so be sure to be at WMRHS on time.

The student handbook will also be posted online (on the WMRHS page) of the district website. Hard copies are also available in the counseling department.  During the first week of school, administration and teachers will review the key points with the student body in regards to the student handbook.  In addition, we expect students and their parent/guardians to familiarize themselves with the student handbook.

Just a reminder for any student that plans to take the October SAT or ACT tests, that the deadlines to register for these tests is right around the corner!

SAT Deadline:  September 7, 2018 (October 6 Test Date)     https://sat.collegeboard.org/register

At White Mountains Regional High School, the parents, students,  teachers, and support staffwork collaboratively to ensure the safety and well-being of all students while providing them with a challenging and rewarding educational experience as we encourage our students to own their learning.  As parents, you play an integral role in the education of your child. Your involvement in your child’s education will help them achieve more success and have a positive outlook on school.

We look forward to another successful school opening and wish you the best for a productive 2018-2019 school year. If you have any questions please contact WMRHS at (603) 837-2528.
