Option 2 Personal Finance:  All Students who are enrolled in Option 2 Personal Finance for Semester 2 must complete the course by Monday, June 3rd in order to receive credit.  The Final Exam will be given on Thursday, June 6th, during Period 2 in Room E33. Students will be given passes in homeroom on the day of the exam. Any student who needs a study guide for the exam, please stop in the Guidance Office to pick one up.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!!!  Anyone who has PERFECT ATTENDANCE for the month of May will be put in a drawing for great prizes!

SENIOR PROM – Pick up obligation forms in the Main Office and with the advisors beginning TODAY. Class dues MUST be paid prior to bid purchase!!  Once your obligation form is complete, pick up your bid in E4A. Bids and table assignments will be available after school beginning Monday, May 6th.   ALL bids/obligations MUST be purchased/complete BEFORE table selections can be made. No additional bids will be sold after May 10. Any questions, see Mrs. Cosentino in E4A.  

It's RELAY FOR LIFE time!!! We will be working hard to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society over the next few months as we get closer to the BIG EVENT on June 14th!! See Mrs. A. Fitzgerald in room W-30 if you would like to join in on our efforts! 

Do you need to improve your ASVAB score? Mrs. O’Keefe is offering extra help with ASVAB study guides. She is available during period 7 in M07. After school study halls may be available as well. Please see Mrs. O’Keefe to schedule study dates with her beforehand.    

JUNIOR PROM DECORATING! We need your help! We will be decorating for the Junior Prom on Friday, May 3rd from 2pm-8pm.  Come join us for music, food and fun! See Mr. Koscinski for details.

The deadline to pre-order your YEARBOOK is rapidly approaching! The last day to pre-order your Yearbook is Friday, May 17th. The only way to guarantee getting a yearbook this year is by pre-ordering!  To order, go to www.jostens.com. Get yours before they are completely sold out!

   

CLUB NEWS

Come eat at CHARLIE’S PIZZA TODAY  from 5pm-8pm and support the AUTISM ACADEMY!

Anyone interested in going on the last HISTORY CLUB trip of the year to Philadelphia, see Mr. Cohen in room

E5B for a permission slip. The trip will be held on Sunday June 2nd, and will be available to the first 100

students who hand in their money and permission slip.  The cost of the trip is $35 which includes a tour of Independence Hall.

Attention all current Sophomores and Juniors!  Are you interested in a Medical Career in the Hospital? If so, you could be part of an exciting internship program at RWJBH-Community Medical Center next year! See Dr. Kretz in E6 for more information and an application. Spots are limited, so don’t delay!

High School East MILITARY SUPPORT CLUB are selling black and grey camouflage DRi-fit T-shirts for just $25 (XXL or Larger is $30) Military members (former, retired, or active duty) will receive a $5 discount. Order forms can be picked up in the Safety Office or by any Military Support Club member.

Interact CLUB will be selling Raider's Fighting Cancer T-Shirts until Friday May 17th! Every t-shirt purchased will help a cancer patient and their family! You will receive an order form in your homeroom or you can place your order during lunch! Fill out the form and return it with your money to History Fitz in room W-30 at the beginning or end of the day!  Thank you so much for your support!

The HISPANIC HERITAGE CLUB is teaming up with RAIDERS IN SERVICE to help those in need in the Dominic. Be part of this selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser at any location of SURF TACO TODAY, May 2nd, between 11am and 9pm. YOU MUST PRESENT A FLYER WHEN ORDERING TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED.  Extra flyers will be available in the office. Remember: Thursday, May 2nd between 11am and 9pm at any location of Surf Taco.

The PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB meeting has been rescheduled for May 7th. Thank you and enjoy your Spring Break!

Need a little help with your college entrance essays? Having difficulty with that research paper? Or would you just like another set of eyes to proofread your assignments?  The WRITING CENTER provides tutors to help with all types of writing assignments.  The WRITING CENTER will be open every Tuesday and Thursday after school in W-20.  Ask your English teacher for further details. – Schindler

The DANCE CREW practice is every Tuesday in W10. All are welcome.- Hatton

The NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY meets every Tuesday after school in N04.

The ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB will meet every Monday after school in E11. Come one, Come all!

The BIBLE CLUB meets on Wednesdays after school in Room W21. Snacks are provided. Come join us!

The ROBOTICS TEAM will be meeting every TUESDAY and THURSDAY in Room N3A after school.  Come join us anytime.

The COMPUTER CLUB will be meeting every MONDAY in Room S21 after school.  Come join anytime!!!

ATTENTION TEACHERS

ATTENTION TEACHERS!   The COFFEE CORNER IS OPEN!!!  Our doors open at 7:15 in Room E16.  Keurig coffee is available at all times, and fresh brewed coffee is available by 7:30.  $1.00 for coffee or tea, and 50 cents for any snacks (doughnut, muffin, etc.)  Our students work the coffee shop periods 3 & 6 and will greet you at the door and check you out at the register, but we are open ALL DAY so any time the door is open just COME ON IN and help yourself! Please leave money on register or in tip jar when students not working.  Stay tuned for upcoming lunch specials.
