Good Afternoon Dawe School Dragon Families and Friends,

Happy Friday and Happy 2024! I know 2024 is going to be a great year and I am wishing you all a year filled with good health, happiness, positivity, and fun! I hope that this message finds you doing well and that you had a great week! We had an incredible first week of school at the Dawe as we returned from our Winter Break! It was a quiet week at the Dawe with minimal school wide events which led to a calm transition back into the routine of a school day! After my original email requesting more volunteers for our Diversity at the Dawe Night, I did receive some responses for workshops and donated food items. IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• Please send your child(ren) to school with a snack each day
• Every Friday will be a “Spirit Day” at the Dawe - students and teachers are invited to wear New England Sports Gear, Dawe Dragon Gear, Black & Orange for Stoughton Pride, Crocs with Socks, or anything else they would love to wear to show school spirit!
• If possible, please send your child(ren) to school with a reusable water bottle that can be filled throughout the day using our filtered water dispensers
• If you think that you may be interested in volunteering this year (field trips, events, mystery reader, etc.), please be sure to fill out and return CORI forms and complete your fingerprinting as early in the year as possible
• If you are bringing your child(ren) to school late (after 8:35 am), you must accompany them in the building to sign them in
• If your child(ren) is going to be absent from school, please be sure to contact the main office and/or clinic
• If you need assistance getting a backpack, please do not hesitate to reach out as we have many in the school that have been generously donated to us 
• If you need to dismiss your child(ren) prior to the end of the school day, please be sure to email/inform their classroom teacher so that the information can be shared with our main office as soon as possible
