Beyond Gyro
Ready in 20 minutes
Serves 3-5 people
Gyro Filling Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Minced Ginger
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Pack of Beyond Meat
- Salt & Pepper
Topping Ingredients
- Pita Bread
- Crumbled Feta
- Shredded Lettuce
- Diced Cucumbers
- Diced Tomatoes
- Diced Red Onions
- Tzatziki Sauce
Preparation
- In a skillet add vegetable oil and heat on medium
- Add Beyond meat along with all other Gyro filling ingredients
- Cook stirring continually until beyond meat crumbles are firm with desired texture
- Heat pita bread in microwave or in oven
- On warm pita bread add cooked beyond meat
- Topped Pita bread with topping ingredients
Tips
I like to cook my beyond crumbles until it is firm. The longer it is cooked the better it tastes. You can use any vegan meat crumbles or even ground beef for this recipe.
