The 7th grade football team continues to get better every week. They fought to the end last night in Bloomington, but came up just short with a chance to tie the game in the final seconds of their final drive and lost 16-8. The Spartans started the game quick and aggressive pulling out to a 8-0 lead at the half. The second half the Spartans gave up two long touchdowns to Jackson Creek which cost them the victory. The Spartans are on the road again next week at Bloomington Batchelor and will be home Sept. 12th to play Central.

On the 8th grade side, the Spartans came out on top with a 28-20 victory over Jackson Creek! Brennan Cowan and Ethan Duncan had a pair of touchdowns each. Ty Boone and Alex Narvaez recorded a sack. Jacob McMullen blocked a FG attempt and the O-line lead by Brandon Cowan, Dalton Abner, Gracie Compton, Willy Davis and Patrick McMahon was an absolute force!
