Packing list for Saturday’s convention
We’re excited to welcome everyone back for the Special Electing Convention! While many things will be similar to the previous in-person conventions several things will also be changing.
Do you have the following?
- Device (phone, laptop, or tablet) to vote on (A limited number of tablets have been reserved for those who do not own a smart device (phone, laptop, or tablet) to use for voting.)
- Charger for device
- External battery for device (if you have one)
- Pillow/device for back support (we’ll be sitting in the nave, if you need extra back support consider bringing something from home)
- Clipboard or hard backed notebook (to make it easier to take notes while sitting in a pew)
- Pen or pencil to take notes with
- Reusable bag (or two) to carry what you bring to the convention
- Sweater or jacket to stay warm (sometimes the Cathedral can be a bit chilly in the winter)
- Light snacks for mid-morning or afternoon (please note these may only be consumed outside or in Gresham Hall, NOT in the cathedral)
- Sunscreen, sun hat, light sweater or jacket in case it’s chilly (we’ll be outside on the plaza for morning coffee and a continental breaks)
- A mask, if you would feel more comfortable wearing one (there is currently no mask requirement)
Also have you?
- Arranged your transportation and parking (parking could be challenging, please plan ahead and leave extra time)
