Parent Fellowship: Special Education | ||
Community partners in collaboration with The Oakland REACH are excited to launch this Special education Fellowship. With your participation, you will acquire the knowledge you need to become a powerful advocate for your child, and a parent leader for students with exceptional needs in your community. Stipend Available upon successful completion. 4 week series, 5:30pm-7:30pm Interest form closes June 28th | English Session: Wednesdays July 21-August 11 Spanish Session: Thursdays July 22-August 12 |
5-12th Grade Summer Academic Programs: | ||
Fifth through Eighth Grade Comprehensive summer program that provides core academic instruction (Math, ELA, Science) in the morning (9-12pm) and extracurricular activities in the afternoon (1-3PM). Registration closed | Ninth through Tenth Grade Community partners offer summer programs that provide deep engagement with career exploration and passion development (Architecture, Art, Science, and more). Students personal mentoring meant to support adolescents in planning and progressing toward their goals. Stipends are available to youth who complete the program.
