                                               Seaside Studios

                                               Sunrise Studios

Or any available hotel in the village of Megalochori (do not choose Skala village unless you want to pay for transport or walk 20mins).

Ferry transfer Piraeus Agistri €26-30 return. Timetables to be confirmed later in season. To coordinate Flights and Ferries for same day transfer to/from Airport- Agistri, it’s best to arrive at Athens Airport no later than 13:00 and departures no earlier than 13:00. For those arriving on Friday there is a ferry at 20:00.

The ferry services are operated by Aegean Flying Dolphins and Hellenic Seaways. They arrive directly (via Aegina Island) to the port at Megalochori (Myli) Agistri. Hotel Milos is a short walk up the hill from the port.

We can arrange for Taxi transfer from the Airport to Piraeus Port with assistance for purchase of tickets. Usual cost €50. The trip takes 45-60 mins

There is also a regular Bus service X96 which takes between 60-90 mins €6.00 p/p last time I used it.

Day trip costs depend on participation, but I’ll try to get an estimate within the week plus full details

However, a rough estimate will be between 60 to 80 Euros not including the entrance fees to the various sites, which are quite reasonable. The Acropolis trip will be the cheapest, from about €50 including entrance fees because we can use public transport.

Makeup and Manicure activity, I’m expecting a range of €30-50.

The Greek evening at Hotel Milos will be between €10 - 15.

The evening at “Shesep’s Bar” will depend on the menu but expect €10-15 also unless we decide on something expensive like lobster!

Food on the island is good quality and also relatively cheap. You can have a light meal from €2.50 (Souvlaki) or €10-15 for a full meal. A Greek salad (a meal in itself) costs €6-7.

Coffee is between €2.50-5.00 at sit down cafes, takeaway is cheaper.

Drinks €3.50-5.00 for a beer (500ml), €5.00-10.00 for spirits.

Island Transport: There is one Bus, one taxi and one minivan taxi.

Motorcycles and push bikes for hire, but no cars or quad bikes!

Prices for food and drinks are estimates only going by last years prices in most establishments on Agistri Island. If you intend travelling elsewhere in Greece, be prepared for higher prices on the more renowned islands like Mykonos and Santorini or even on the mainland in some cases. Same applies for hotels.

All quoted prices are inclusive of taxes and gratuities. Any further tipping is completely optional with as little as €1.00 putting a smile on you server’s face.

There is also an Overnight Tax that Guests have to pay for separately. For guests at Hotel Milos the rate is €0.50 per night per room. This rate applies to most Hotels on the island, expect to pay more at hotels in other locations.

Don’t hesitate to message me or email (above address) if you have any queries.

We look forward to hosting you all at the TAG Con.
