TOOLS AND RESOURCES

At Home Learning Schedule and Daily Planning Tool
This set of tools is designed for students who need extra structure to their at-home learning day.  Each version incorporates research-based strategies shown to maximize student engagement and self-direction.  All students may not need this level of structure.  Students who may benefit include those with ADHD, anxiety, low tolerance for frustration, and difficulty with organization.  These students may or may not have an identified disability.  These students also may or may not have these challenges in a typical school environment, but because of the unique circumstance in which we are living, are now struggling.  This tool may also be helpful to families who are juggling at-home learning and other challenges such as parents also working from home, parents working outside the home, multiple children engaged in at-home learning, or other circumstances requiring adults’ time and attention. The primary goal of this set of tools is to lessen stress on families and children. A secondary benefit is to teach students how to be more self-directed learners, a valuable life skill.
