2022 PARADE ENTRY TYPES & FEES
The Christmas Parade is an invitational parade. Interested participants may submit applications to be considered for entry; applications do not guarantee entry in the parade. Once approved, participants will be invoiced for parade fees which must be paid in full prior to the parade date.
Professional Float
Description: Zebulon Chamber has contracted with a professional float company to offer professionally-made floats to participants. A float meeting will be held where your company or organization may select the float it would like to use. Participants may have riders on the float representing your company or organization.
Cost: Full float: $650
Half float: $375
Description: Marching bands representing area schools will not have to pay or be sponsored to be in the Christmas Parade. Other bands will have to pay $135 to be in the Christmas Parade.
Cost: Band representing local school: $0
All other bands: $135
Description: Cars that have company signage. Note: Because the parade is meant to entertain, cars cannot be entered strictly for advertising purposes (example: box trucks with wrapped company signage, cars with a company magnet on doors). Entries must be decorated with a Christmas theme or have some entertainment value.
Cost: Chamber member: $95
Non-Chamber member: $135
Description: Participants may make their own floats. Marching or walking groups that must be entertainment related (baton twirling, dance troops, clowns, etc.) Marching units are limited to 4 chaperones. When submitting your application please let us know what type of uniform or costume you will be wearing, any routines that may be performed, and the entertainment value you are providing to the parade.

Non-Chamber member: $135
Description: Classic cars that are entertainment worthy. Classic cars with a business logo on them, wanting to drive through the parade with a participant on the back, is considered an advertising vehicle and not a classic car. Equine clubs include those with animals defined as equine by NC State statutes. Equine must be ridden by trained individuals and accustomed to crowd noise so as to not endanger spectators or other parade participants. Classic car clubs and equine clubs are limited to 20 participants per entry.

Non-Chamber member: $135
Description: Municipal vehicles: Police, Fire, EMS. Churches: officially chartered religious organizations. Civic organizations: officially chartered, community-based organizations with non-profit status composed of voluntary members and established to further the well-being of the community.
