Pre-pay allows you to purchase books for your child, your child’s teacher and the library in advance, but the deadline is Monday, November 20th so CLICK HERE NOW. (Note: If you have multiple students at SES, please pre-pay separately for EACH child.) Want to volunteer? Who’s Ready for Math Night?

Third, fourth and fifth graders, get ready to play, puzzle and problem-solve because Math Night is tomorrow from 6:30-7:30pm in the SES cafeteria. It is NOT too late to sign up… just CLICK HERE. Make your best guess about how many Legos are in our Guesstimation Jar and you could win a super-cool new SES snack bag! Ginga Brasileira!

Last reminder to join us for our Cultural Arts Dance Brazil assembly on Thursday, November 16th. Parents and students will love these energetic musicians and dancers with their colorful costumes, rhythmic music and high-energy footwork. Showtimes are 8:30-9:30am for grades 3-5 and 9:45-10:45am for K-2.

Third Grade Rise & Read

Hey third grade families, we’ll see you at Rise & Read on Friday, November 17th at 7:30am. This Friday, November 17th is our next Spirit Day: Career Day! Dress for your dream job! Do you want to be a doctor? Artist? Football player? Teacher? We can't wait to see what our students want to be!

SEGA School Students Visit

Thanks to the Change for Change drive last spring, SES is sponsoring the education of two African students at the SEGA School in Tanzania. On Friday, November 17th, SES and the Caring Council will welcome Jaqueline and Esther, two SEGA School student representatives. Saugatuck students in grades 3-5 will participate in a discussion about life in Morogoro, Tanzania and school at SEGA. Parents are welcome to attend the meet and greet with Jaqueline and Esther at 2:00pm. Please RSVP to Ashley Moran (ashmoran@westportps.org) so that seating can be prepared.
