Welcome to a new school year! We are thrilled to share that ALL enrolled students in Roaring Fork Schools will continue to receive a FREE breakfast and lunch each school day through December 2025. Although all students will receive meals at no cost, it is very important that each household completes the: Educational Benefits Application: School Fees & Meals for school district funding and fee exemption eligibility.
Completing this application helps our district receive vital funding and may qualify your student for additional school-related support. This may include: Waived school fees, discounted athletic fees, reduced fees for SAT, ACT, and AP exams, eligibility for Summer EBT benefits, state and federal funding for classrooms, technology, and student support.
Important Information:
- Only one application is required per household, even if your children attend different schools.
- All income information is strictly confidential and protected by law.
- Permission to share your information will only be with RFSD staff for school fee waivers, athletic fee reductions, and AP test support.
- Immigration, migrant, refugee, or citizenship status is NOT required
- The form is used to determine meal eligibility where applicable and to support educational benefits across all schools.
For families at schools where meals are provided at no cost to all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), this form still plays a crucial role in ensuring access to other education-based benefits.
