What to Expect at Latine Pride
- We are so proud to announce the LGBTQ+ Latine Coalition’s 3rd annual Latine Pride Celebration. As San Diego’s official Queer Latine Pride event, this is a space for folx to embrace the vibrancy of our community and celebrate the pure joy of our Queer Latinidad. Join us for music, food, community resources, vendors, performances, and opportunities to connect!
- About 2,000 people are expected to attend this event.
- There will be about 30 vendors as well as an art showcase and activities.
- Performances will include Drag Queens, DJs, salsa & merengue dancers, and various live music acts.
- Latine Pride is located at Mujeres Brew House (1983 Julian Ave, San Diego, CA 92113) and Bread & Salt (1955 Julian Ave, San Diego, CA 92113).
- Latine Pride is on Saturday, September 16th from 1-7 PM.
- You can come at any time and stay for as long as you would like within those times. Mujeres Brew House will be open until 9 PM after the event, so you can stay and enjoy your time there if you wish.
- Latine Pride is free and open to the public. This is a family-friendly, all-ages event.
Service Animals
- Service animals are permitted throughout Latine Pride.
- Please note that this event is open to the public and non-service animal pets may be present.
- Water will be provided for service animals and dogs at multiple locations throughout the event.
- Animal relief areas will be at any grassy or dirt patches along the sidewalk outside of the venue. Waste can be discarded at any of the outdoor trash cans throughout the event.
Dogs at Latine Pride
- Latine Pride welcomes dogs. Please review the following guidelines before bringing your dog:
- Dogs should be current on required vaccinations.
- Dogs should be on flea and tick prevention and show no signs of an infestation.
- Dogs must be well socialized. Dogs that show reactivity to people, children or other dogs will not be allowed to attend.
- Dogs must have a collar/harness with a current ID tag and be on a leash or in a carrier at all times.
- Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership.
- Please come prepared to clean up after your dog.
- Water will be provided for service animals and dogs at multiple locations throughout the event.

Mobility Accessibility
- Latine Pride is accessible to all mobility devices.
- The outdoor portion of the event may have some bumps and cracks in the cement and asphalt and will have some inclines and declines. For the most part, the event is on even ground.
- The event will include seating options at various locations.
- Accessible, gender-inclusive restrooms will be available at this event. Restrooms are available within Mujeres Brewhouse and portable restrooms will be available at the outdoor portion of this event.
Sensory Accessibility
- Latine Pride will have a Sensory Break Area for anyone who may become overwhelmed with the activities of the event or would like a calm area to rest. This will be available within Bread & Salt.
- Here are some examples of sensory stimulation that you may encounter at Latine Pride:
- Loud music and speakers at our entertainment stage
- Many people walking around and talking to each other and vendors
- Bright colors
- Weather when outside, A/C when inside
- Scents from food vendors
- Tasting food or snacks from vendors
- Scents from our portable toilets
- Fidget toys and ear plugs will be available at this event.
Communication Accessibility
- American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation will be provided for on-stage performances as well as to support communication throughout the event. If you would like to be paired with an interpreter, please contact Linda, our Accessibility Coordinator, at (619) 289-8842, or find Linda in a blue shirt with “Accessibility” on the back at the event.

Food Information
- Mexican and Peruvian food will be available for purchase from food vendors at this event. Vegan and gluten-free options will be available.
- Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from Mujeres Brew House, including a special themed drink for the event.
- Water will be available at this event.
- You are welcomed to bring your own food, snacks, and water to sustain you throughout the day.
- If you need any assistance ordering food, carrying food or items purchased, or similar activities, please find an event organizer or volunteer and we can assist you.
Transportation and Parking
- The entrance to the lot will be on Irving Ave.
- This lot is about 0.3 miles from the entrance to the event. There will be signs directing you to the event and parking lot.
- Two ADA accessible spots will be available.
- Limited street parking will be available as well.
- ADA street parking spots are available at 2010 Julian Ave., 2036 Julian Ave., and 619 Dewey St.
- Public Transportation Options:
- Take the Blue line to Barrio Logan Station (0.5 miles from Mujeres Brew House)
- Take the Orange line to 25th/Commercial St Station (0.4 miles from Mujeres Brew House)
- Bus 12 - Get off at Logan Ave. & Cesar Chavez Pkwy. (0.3 miles from Mujeres Brew House)
- Bus 901 - Get off at National Ave. & Cesar Chavez Pkwy. (0.3 miles from Mujeres Brew House)
- Bus 3 - Get off at Ocean View Blvd. & Dewey St. (0.3 miles from Mujeres Brew House)
- If you use MTS Access, you can set your drop-off location to 1983 Julian Ave, San Diego, CA 92113. (Please note this service may be limited or unavailable at this time.)

COVID-19 Information
- Face coverings, vaccinations, and obtaining a negative COVID-19 test, if accessible to you, are strongly recommended for attending this event.
- This event will include both outdoor and indoor spaces. Guests may be in close vicinity to one another, but there are many opportunities to distance yourself as needed.
- Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at this event.
