What is Neurodiversity Worksheet

Neurodiversity is an umbrella concept that was created as a social justice movement to encourage advocacy and acceptance of a variety of conditions.

This concept or movement encourages self-advocacy, inclusivity, and education. Neurodiversity focuses on the fact that the brain works differently - therefore, many of the conditions are simply a presentation of the different ways the brain functions.

It also offers a holistic view for an individual to understand that they may experience differences in all functional domains (cognitive, emotional, social, physical). Neurodiversity further encourages acceptance and inclusivity of these differences, both from the individual and from others.
