ILCA North America’s grant program continues this year to help districts host high-level clinics to improve sailor skills and boost participation in some of the smaller class sanctioned regattas that don’t always see the highest turnout.

Here’s a quick summary of the program:

• District Secretaries submit requests for the grant, detailing the itemized costs and proposed dates leading up to the PCCs, ACCs, No Coast Champs, Gulf Coast Champs, Great Lakes Champs, or District Champs.
• Participating sailors must be current ILCA members.
• If approved, the grant covers as much as $500 of the coaching fee (reimbursed to the club).
• The host club covers all other other related costs for the clinic (coach travel, accommodations, coach boat, etc.).
