Why do we study French?

  1. To communicate in another language
  2. To learn more about our first language
  3. To learn more about the world and how other people live

Course Overview: 

This course is an introduction to the French language and Francophone cultures. Students will practice reading, writing, listening and speaking within a cultural context. Students will be expected to demonstrate reading comprehension, write short simple paragraphs, listen to media and carry on simple conversations in French using basic functions of the language within real life contexts.
