Welcome to The Creative Talent Network Event Programs. These are member only programs and you will be asked to confirm your membership in Club CTN. You can join here FREE and cancel anytime. It comes with some cool perks.  CLICK HERE

RULES CLUB CTN


Respect and Inclusivity: Treat everyone with respect regardless of background, identity, or experience. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Professional Conduct: Maintain professional behavior at all times, whether interacting with peers, guests, or speakers.

Community Support: Support fellow members and contribute positively to the Club’s community spirit. Encourage collaboration and constructive feedback.

Event Guidelines: Follow specific guidelines for events, including registration, participation rules, and conduct during sessions.

Resource Management: Respect shared resources and equipment. Use them responsibly and report any issues promptly.

Safety First: Prioritize safety in all activities. Follow safety protocols and guidelines for using studio equipment or participating in events.

Communication Channels: Utilize designated channels for communication, feedback, and event coordination. Maintain clarity and professionalism in all communications.

RULES CTN STUDIO + EVENTS


Recording Policy: Recording of any kind (audio, video, or photographic) within CTN Studio premises is strictly prohibited without prior authorization from studio management. This policy ensures the privacy and confidentiality of our activities and guests. Thank you for your cooperation.

Studio Etiquette: Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Respect others' work areas and equipment.

Noise and Disturbance: Keep noise levels appropriate for a gallery studio  environment. Use headphones for personal audio.

Security and Access: Follow access procedures and security protocols.

Studio Hours: Adhere to designated open hours unless prior arrangements are made.

Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with emergency exits, first aid kits, and evacuation procedures. Report any safety concerns promptly.

CAUSE FOR REMOVAL POLICY

Applicable to all members, participants, and guests of Club CTN, CTN Studio, CTN Events and is at the discretion of management.

To preserve the integrity of our creative community and ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment, CTN reserves the right to revoke membership or access privileges to Club CTN or CTN Studio based on the following causes:

Disrespectful or Disruptive Conduct

Engaging in harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior

Repeatedly disrupting classes, events, or meetings

Disregard for the rights or boundaries of others

Violation of Rules or Policies

Repeated or severe violations of Club CTN or CTN Studio rules

Refusing to follow instructions from CTN staff, instructors, or event organizers

Unauthorized use of equipment, materials, or facilities

Safety Hazards or Recklessness

Behavior that endangers the safety of oneself or others

Failure to follow safety protocols

Tampering with fire alarms, security systems, or safety equipment

Property Damage or Theft

Vandalizing or damaging CTN or participant property (intentionally or through negligence)

Theft of any kind, including intellectual or physical property

Misrepresentation or Fraud

Misusing credentials to gain access to events, scholarships, or resources

Falsifying information on applications, registrations, or artist profiles

Illegal or Unethical Behavior

Engaging in any illegal activity while on CTN premises or at CTN-sponsored events

Conduct that reflects poorly on CTN’s mission or public image

Repeated Warnings with No Improvement

Ignoring verbal or written warnings from CTN staff

Demonstrated unwillingness to correct problematic behavior or comply with policies

REMOVAL PROCESS

Incident Review

Reports of misconduct will be reviewed by CTN’s leadership team or designated staff.

Notice

The individual will be informed in writing of the alleged violation(s).

Opportunity to Respond

Individuals may be given a chance to respond or explain.

Final Decision

Based on the findings, CTN reserves the right to remove access, membership, or participation privileges, either temporarily or permanently.

APPEALS

In select cases, individuals may submit a written appeal to the CTN Foundation within 10 business days of removal. The appeal will be reviewed by leadership, and a final decision will be communicated in writing.


JOINING ONLINE

ZOOM-ETIQUETTE


Please arrive at least 10 min early to make sure everyone is settled before we begin. When you enter please make sure your camera and microphone are off. And give us a shout out in the chat window so we know you’re here and where you are zooming from.

Q+A

The online Zoom webinar will have a monitored Q+A feature as well as an informal chat window. Please ask your questions that you want the teacher to address in the Q+A window. When the teacher is ready, the moderator will read aloud your questions and they will be addressed, either during the session or at the end.

JOINING IN PERSON


You will be attending at CTN Studio, the official physical head quarters for the Creative Talent Network membership. If you have been sick in the past 48 hours, a virtual option will be provided for you, instead of coming in person. Masks and vaccination cards are optional in general, but are recommended unless otherwise indicated. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to be checked in and to get settled before the class begins. The restrooms are in the hallway, and the key is located at the front of the studio. There is free street parking. There is water, coffee, beverages and small snacks available. If you bring your own lunch please eat outside. Please clean up your area when you leave.

GOOGLE DRIVE


This program uses Google Drive for the storage of your homework assignments. If you are enrolled in a program that gives homework assignments that you want the instructor to review, you will upload your work into a folder with your name that CTN has created for you.

Please follow this file naming format: JanetSmith_07252022 (The numbers represent month, day, year. For example: 07252022 = July 25, 2022)

Always upload your work at least 48 hours in advance, otherwise there is no guarantee your work will be seen. Not all work will be reviewed. It is at the teacher’s discretion.

Make sure you visibly label your work with your name. Can be small in the lower right hand corner or wherever appropriate to not obstruct your art.

DISCORD

This program uses Discord as a community hub. On CTN Discord, you will receive general program announcements, chat with other participants, and get feedback from the instructor. The main goal is to connect you with the CTN community at large, to receive help and guidance along the way.

SUPPLIES FOR DAY ONE


Please be ready with materials to take notes and if an art program be prepared with basic drawing supplies on day one  (sketchbook.paper, pen/s, pencil/s.) https://ctn-events.com/supply-list 

NO RECORDING


Please be respectful of the teacher and the other attendees by not recording these sessions. The sessions are being recorded for archival purposes.

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

When you enter a CTN event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

By entering the event premises, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by CTN and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar CTN events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of CTN.

You release CTN, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged.

You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by CTN or the person or entity designated to do so by CTN.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

COVID


Please note that CTN’s first priority for in person attendance is the health and safety of our visitors and staff. Visitation protocols will be in place to help protect against the spread of COVID-19 as dictated by the CDC. These may change as guidance from the State of California, City of Burbank and Los Angeles County change.  For the most current visitation protocols, please read our assumption of risk waiver.

Risk: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. CTN follows all applicable public health orders and guidance, but by visiting, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.  Assumption of Risk Waiver and Release.

Symptom Check:  Visitors who are feeling sick or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (such as cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, or any other symptoms), or who have had contact with anyone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19, should stay home, regardless of vaccination status. Please note that visitors displaying COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter.

Visitor Conduct: All visitors are required to follow CTN’s policies. Abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening statements or behavior toward CTN staff will not be tolerated. CTN reserves the right to require visitors whose conduct violates these policies to leave immediately. For more details please read CODE OF CONDUCT below.

CODE OF CONDUCT

CTN is dedicated to providing a harassment-free environment for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment or abusive behavior to anyone including attendees, teachers, and staff. We ask that all participants support this atmosphere. Anyone found to be violating our rules can be expelled at the discretion of organizers without a refund.   Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.   Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.   If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of our staff immediately.   Staff will be happy to help attendees contact security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the class.
