To qualify, you must:

• Be an active member of GLA and a member of the BC-GLA
• Be a person who is legally born as BIPOC: "Black, Indigenous, and People of Color as defined by the BIPOC Project and used by ALA.
• Write an essay of 300 words or less on how the professional development grant will help achieve a professional development goal.
• Be currently employed in a Georgia library.
• The winner will be featured in a profile in the Spring, 2025 edition of the GLA-Black Caucus newsletter.
