We will be camping for 5 days and 4 nights. Please pack accordingly. Clothes should be cotton-based for forging (ex: jeans, t-shirts), polyester or synthetic fabrics can melt and cause severe burns.
- Clothing:
- T-shirts: Pack enough for 5 days, considering they might get dirty or sweaty.
- Long-sleeve shirts: Bring a few for cooler mornings or evenings.
- Pants/shorts: Have a mix of pants and shorts for different temperatures.
- Underwear and socks: Pack enough for each day, plus extras.
- Sweater/jacket: Bring a warm layer for chilly mornings or nights.
- Pajamas: Comfortable sleepwear for the nights.
- Footwear:
- Sturdy shoes: Choose comfortable shoes suitable for hiking or walking on uneven terrain.
- Must have closed-toe shoes for blacksmithing.
- No flip-flops
- Personal items:
- Sleeping bag: Make sure it's suitable for the expected temperatures.
- Pad or foam mattress
- Pillow: Bring a camping pillow or use a small pillowcase filled with clothes.
- Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and other personal hygiene items.
- Lip balm
- Sunscreen: Protect your skin from the sun's rays.
- Hat: A hat can shield your face and head from the sun.
- Insect repellent: Keep bugs away during outdoor activities.
- Medications: If you take any medications, be sure to pack enough for the trip.
- Flashlight/headlamp: Essential for navigating at night.
- Watch (getting to events on time is important)
- There will be no outlets, so don’t bring a Smartwatch or other device that will need to be recharged
