The Promise

After reading the text, find five interesting words that have been used. Write each word in the first column, followed by their definition (use a dictionary to find these) and use them in a sentence to show that you understand the meaning of each word.

Plan and write a paragraph that follows on from the story. What would the outside world look and feel like? Your paragraph must include the characters that have already been introduced and you need to take on the position of one of the characters. The paragraph needs to be at least 8 sentences long!
