Track Day FAQ
Q: What is required attire for the track event?
A: Approved helmet, Closed toe shoes covering the entire foot, Clothing must be worn (recommended that clothing be made of natural fibers)
A: If you do not own an approved helmet and need a loaner helmet, please reach out to the Registrar to reserve one. There is a limited number of loaner helmets available.
Q: Are laps timed for this event?
A: No, laps will not be timed.
Q: Do drivers need to volunteer for any work activities during the event?
A: No, work activities are handled by the track’s event staff.
Q: What should I bring to the track each day?
A: Magnetic/vinyl car numbers (or masking tape for car numbers), Air pressure gauge, air pump, water, shade (if you prefer to be out of the sun, please secure it properly)
A: If you have a separate set of wheels, you should bring a track jack and tools for changing/removing wheels.
Q: Is there food available on-site at the track?
A: Breakfast and lunch and drinks are available for purchase track-side between 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
A: Please plan accordingly for food and water.
Q: For convertibles, are roll bars required for this track event?
A: No, roll bars are recommended. Please see Section 1.2 in 2024 SCCA Track Event Rules.
