I Can!
When you were a baby, could you wash your hands?
Can you wash your hands now that you are older?
Sometimes we must just wait a little until we have learned how to do something.
It is better to say “I can’t do that YET” rather than “I can’t do that”.
If you say “I can’t do that YET”, then you know what you still need to learn and you can ask for help to learn how to do it!
Let’s see what you can do now and what you can’t do yet!
Can you draw a picture of your face?
Can you tell the time?
Can you dance?
Can you count to 50?
Can you sweep the floor?
In the boxes, draw some pictures of things you can do and things you can’t do YET!
Yes, I can do this! | I can’t do this YET! |
