St. Savio Matric. Hr. Sec. School founded in 1987 aims at establishing a self disciplined educated and God fearing community. We recognize the many ways that technology has impacted our world and we endeavour to promote new technologies in both instruction and learning, we strongly believe that each student has a unique set of talents bestowed by God, and that as educators we are to facilitate the growth and strengthening of these talents wherever possible.

Admission
No Student will be admitted without the Transfer Certificate from the last school attended. The TC should be countersigned by the Inspector of Schools in case of those coming from other states.
Children should have completed 3 years as on July 31 in order to qualify for admission to the LKG
Examination
Std I to X follow the Tamilnadu Matriculation Board Syllabus with the examination taken at the end of Std X
Std XI & XII follow the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Education Syllabus with the examination taken at the end of Std XII.
Fee Regulations
The academic year is divided into three terms
I Term : June to September
II Term : October to December
III Term : January to April
The School fees are collected in 3 instalments and are payable on or before 20th of June, October and January.
Dress Code:
School uniform is compulsory for all Students. Shirts must remain tucked in at all times. Skirts and pinafores must be worn at a modest length. We reserve the right to prohibit the wearing of any clothing, hair style, cosmetics or jewellery which seems to be inappropriate.

Assembly:
Students from Std I to XII must attend the All School Assembly at 8.45 am everyday.
Promotions:
The performance of the students will be reviewed throughout the year by conducting tests and examinations. This assessment is a continuous process and will not be confined to only the Annual Examination. Promotions are based on the average taken for the exams conducted throughout the year.
Physical Training:
Games and sports form an integral part of school activities. Games are compulsory for all students to be physically fit. Students will be exempted only in case of medical reasons with a permission slip signed by the Parent and the Principal
Laboratories:
Independent laboratories for Physics, Chemistry & Biology are provided with modern facilities. The labs are well maintained and utilised for better performance.
Computer Centre:
In keeping with the tremendous advancement in the field of information technology the computer centre has been equipped with the latest software and hardware.
Library:
The School has a rich library and children are encouraged to read journals, encyclopedias, fiction and nonfiction books.
Conveyance:
School Van is available for transportation. Parents may contact the School office for details.
At Savio, We make our best effort to provide educational services consistent with our goals and philosophies. The educational process requires a cooperative effort among the administration, school staff, parents and children.
Extra Curricular Activities:
To develop an all round personality apart from academics, the school also provides the students with various extracurricular activities(ECA)
Various campus activities and field trips are conducted by the ECA which is headed by the members of the faculty. Apart from these the school sends students for all competitive exams conducted from outside. Excursions are arranged every year.
