voice bunny tips on radio ads:
https://voicebunny.com/blog/5-tips-make-radio-ads-grab-attention-sell/
What is the advert for? The advert is to inform people to report any suspicious looking people or luggage because you never know if they/it could contain or have anything harmful to the public and people around them. |
What is the main message of the advert? To report anything looking suspicious. |
What different types of audio clips (Sound effects, music etc.) have been used and why? They have used multiple sounds such as; sad ongoing music throughout the advert, gun shots in the background to show how they might have handled the situation, there are also people talking, which could be the people who have experienced this type of trauma in the past. Also a person had called the number provided at the end of the advert and told them about a suspicious person keeping 1ton of fertiliser, which can be made into a bomb. |
Are different voices used in the ad and why? Yes to show what people had experienced what how they took action about the situation. Also a person called about a suspicious looking person and told the police about what she had seen, and when the police came to see what was going on, they were planning on making a bomb from fertiliser. |
In which location/s or situation/s is the advert set and why? The advert was set in London, as London is an over populated area which has thousands of people visiting London each day and there have been few cases of terrorism in London. |
Who do you think the target audience is for this advertisement? The target audience is for everyone as they are constantly out and could see some suspicious behaviour or events. |
Why would it appeal to the audience? It would appeal to the audience as it could save lives and it can save their own lives. |
What do you think about the advertisement? I like this advert as it informs us about the dangers and what outcomes could occur from these terrorist acts. The advert also gives us information of who to call if anything suspicious has been seen and gives examples of a person calling the police about a man keeping 1ton of fertiliser in a storage unit, to which she called the police and turned out the man was planning on making a bomb from the fertiliser. |
Could it be improved? If so, how? I think the advert is perfect as it is because it contains information on who to call and information about what to do, and they also give us examples of people calling them and an interview with a terrorist them self and how he was trained. |
