The Northside boys' and girls' tennis teams won the Franklin Township West tennis tournament this past Saturday September 9!

Four teams competed with 10 competitors (5 boys and 5 girls) from each school.

Northside's record was 11-4.

Three doubles teams also took home individual honors as the doubles team with the best match record in their division for the tournament.

These teams were Nathan Lin/Ashlie Wilson, Matthew Liu/Tiffany Fu, and Rishi Rao/Arya Gotoh.

Other doubles teams contributing to the team's victory were Eric Stavnheim/Leah George and Charles Terry/Carolina Davidson.

The Spartans were up in Franklin Saturday morning for the first annual Grizzly Invitational against Central, St. Peter's, and host Franklin Community.

The girls took the victory with 30 points to 50 for Franklin, 70 for Central and 79 for St. Peters.

The boys took charge early and got the top three individuals yet again, scoring 19 points to 59 for St. Peter's, 75 for Central and 90 for Franklin.
