Due Dates are VERY important!! It can take up to 5 days for transcripts. Turn in at least one week prior to due date.

Please note the deadlines for each scholarship. If a scholarship is handed in late to the Guidance Office, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for getting it to the destination late. Students are responsible for seeing that applications are mailed, emailed, and/or postmarked before the deadline. If you need a transcript sent with the applications, the transcript request must be in the guidance office at least one week before the deadline to allow us to prepare and send it in a timely manner. Gettysburg College Stem Scholars Program

*available to seniors who intend to earn a bachelor’s degree in one of the following STEM disciplines: Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Math, and Physics

Through a generous grant from the National Science Foundation and Gettysburg College funds, need-based financial aid grants will meet the full demonstrated financial need for STEM Scholars. In selecting members of this cohort, the college will take heightened interest in academically-promising, underrepresented minority, and first-generation students with demonstrated financial need.



Conewago Enterprises

*available to seniors planning to major in a “construction related field (i.e. Accounting, Architecture, Business Management, Engineering ect.)

Conewago Enterprises is proud to announce that in 2018, we will be awarding five (5) individual scholarships to local area 2018 High School Graduates. The Amount of each scholarship will be $20,000 and distributed annually in $5,000 increments for a maximum of four (4) years.



NFL Players Association Student Scholarship

*available to high school seniors who have been accepted at 2 year or 4 year college or university

*Student must be nominated by a high school coach

This scholarship rewards high school athletes for their non-athletic achievements and assists them in achieving their career goals.



AES Engineers Scholarship

*This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a postsecondary educational facility.

The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students.  This award is available to all students, regardless of their field of study.

Hanover Garden Club Horticulture Scholarship

*available to seniors

The Hanover Garden Club is offering a $1000 Horticulture Scholarship. Preference will be given to Hanover Area High School Seniors who plan to further their education in one of the following fields: Agriculture Education, Horticulture, Floriculture, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Wildlife Science, Environmental Control, City (Rural/Urban Planning), Land Management, Biology, Botany, and/or related disciplines.

The Miriam A. Bechtel Scholarship Fund

*available to seniors who are planning to study medicine, nursing, dental, or osteopathy

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America. Scholarships from $2,000-$3,000 will be granted.

Jefferson University Full Tuition Scholarship

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program

The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post-secondary institution. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below.

BigSun Scholarship

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Their participation may be in any capacity, whether as a player, coach, or official. Arthur B. Musselman Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time, undergraduate student enrolled or planning to enroll in a 4 or 2 year school in the fields of agriculture or life science. Applicant or parent/guardian of the applicant must be a member of the Adams County Farm Bureau.



Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

Seton Hall University’s Sustainable Development Challenge

The Good Neighbor Award at Washington and Jefferson College

*available to seniors

Washington & Jefferson College is proud to announce the expansion of this special financial award for academically accomplished students. If you meet the criteria, W&J will use a combination of grants, loans, and work-study funds to meet 100% of the demonstrated financial need as determined by the FAFSA and W&J for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Senior Elks Student of the Month

This program recognizes area seniors based on: scholastic achievement, leadership qualities, school-related extracurricular activities, and non-school related community, civic, and church activities. Each month, a senior will be selected for the Elks Student of the Month. Those not selected at the time will be considered for following months.

NHS Scholarship

This program grants scholarships to NHS students .Applications for the 2017–18 National Honor Society (NHS) Scholarship Program will open on October 6. All NHS senior members in good standing will be eligible to apply.



    UEW Healthcare EEOICPA Scholarship

This scholarship program offers scholarships each year with a total value of $4,000 ($1,000 per year for four years.) Scholarships will be rewarded in June 2018. ***An applicant must be a member in good standing, or the son or daughter or legal ward of a member of united steelworkers, District 10 (eastern) participating in the scholarship program; or the son or daughter or a legal ward of a disabled or old age retiree or deceased member of an affiliated local union who was in good standing with the United Steelworkers at the time of their retirement or death.

Metzger Wickersham Road to Safety Scholarship Contest

The Coolidge: A Scholarship For America

The Coolidge Scholarship is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study.

The Patricia Reber Memorial Scholarship

**available to seniors who plan on attending college to pursue Music Education, Music Performance, Musical Theatre, or Music Therapy with a vocal concentration

Music scholarship

Students submit an application and an audition CD. Once applications and audition CDs are reviewed, students chosen as finalists will be required to audition live for the scholarship committee on Sunday March 11, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Harrisburg.

PenSPRA 2018 Scholarship Program

**available to seniors

PenSPRA, or the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association, offers three $1,000 scholarships, one in each of its three regions, for public school students planning to major in communications or public relations.



The Stolte Scholarship Fund 

The Stolte Scholarship Fund provides a one-time grant of $500 to a high school senior, college or seminary student studying for the ministry or other church related vocation.  Interested applicants must be residents of the Greater Hanover Area, complete an application form and submit a brief summary of his or her call into ministry and future vocational goals. They should be active members of a church, display good moral character, and exhibit high scholastic ability.

This is a $500 scholarship that was established in 1992 for the purpose of aiding students in Pennsylvania to pursue higher education in a business-related field.



Good Samaritan Lodge Scholarship

*Available to seniors and all students up to the age of 21 who are currently attending an undergraduate institution

Good Samaritan Lodge 336 F. & A.M. will be accepting applications for its $1000 scholarships until April 1, 2018.



John D. Bare Memorial Scholarship

*available to seniors

A memorial scholarship fund. M&T bank employees and their immediate family members (spouse and children) are not eligible for this scholarship.
