Review of Turkish case endings
- Work through ET Unit 12, Section 11: Review of Case Endings, reading Turkish examples aloud.
- Go over the charts of case endings for nouns, pronouns, and after possessive suffixes. That’s a lot of endings — but by now, you should be familiar with and comfortable using all of them. If you struggle with any of them, dedicate some time this week to review. Are there any grammar questions you’d like to ask at your tutorial?
- Complete Exercises A-C in ET Unit 12, Section 11.
- Watch Life Stories – Personal Stories: “From Trabzon to Istanbul.”
- FOR TUTORIAL: Write a diary entry (in the definite past tense) for yourself or a fictional character. Incorporate all of the Turkish noun cases (nominative, locative, genitive, dative, ablative, accusative) that you reviewed this week. Feel free to be creative! You can use the paragraph in ET Unit 12, Section 13 for inspiration. Write at least 10 sentences.
