Getting Started

Before your child can begin using the Chromebook, you will need to connect it to your wifi.
PLEASE NOTE:  Your child will be using your internet and not the OCDSB network, so you will be responsible for any content filtering.

1. Power on the Chromebook.
2. In the “Network not available” screen, click on your wifi name to select it.
    
3. At the prompt, enter the password for the wifi and click Connect.
4. If the connection is successful, you will be prompted to log into the Chromebook.

Logging Into The Chromebook

This Chromebook will only accept OCDSB emails as a Login.  If your child does not remember their OCDSB email address or password, please contact your child’s teacher or principal.

1. Enter your child’s OCDSB Email Address (#1 in image below) and click Next (#2).
   
2. Enter your child’s password and click Next.
3. The Chromebook is now ready to use.
