4th of July Parade Application

You are cordially invited to participate in the 2nd Annual

Saturday, July 5th, 2025 at 11:00am

Line up for the parade will be at Bandera City Park on Maple Street. The parade will proceed down Cypress Street to Main Street. At Lowe’s the parade will turn left and return to park.

Parade Rules

1. DEADLINE IS July 1, 2025

2. Parade begins at 11:00 am.

3. Line-up will begin at 8:30 am at Bandera City Park. The parade line-up will leave City Park at 10:30 am and proceed up Cypress to Main. Please do not block any side streets on Cypress while waiting to turn onto Main Street.

4. A licensed driver must drive autos and large vehicles. Small vehicles (lawn tractors, mini bikes, etc.) must be operated by a person age 12 or over.

5. If you have music on the float turn down music while the announcer speaks

6. Riding horses double or shooting firearms or caps., etc. is NOT ALLOWED. All horses must have proof of negative Coggins test and be on your person!

7. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be consumed by drivers nor participants during the parade.

8. Throwing articles such as candy, gum, koozies, etc. from an entry is strongly discouraged. Someone walking alongside an entry and distributing such items is strongly encouraged.

9. An adult leader must accompany all youth groups along the parade route.

10. No loud sirens and/or horns may be sounded during the parade at any time.

11. During the parade keep no more than two car lengths between you and the entry ahead of you.

WAIVER, RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

Waiver, Release and Indemnification Agreement from Bandera Business Association/11th Street Cowboy Bar 4th of July

Parade Participants.

In consideration of the privilege of participating in the event, I grant to the Bandera Business Association & 11th Street Cowboy Bar its successors and assigns, the right to record, broadcast, and otherwise exploit in any and all media throughout the world, my performance in the event and to use my name, likeness, voice and biographical information concerning me in connection with promotion of the event. For the same consideration, I assume all risks associated with participation in the parade and hereby release and hold harmless all of the following, who are hereafter called “the indemnified parties,” namely the BBA & 11th Street Cowboy Bar, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, assigns, members and volunteer workers from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of my participation in the parade, including without limitation, any personal injuries or damage to my property which I may incur as a result of participation in the parade. I also agree to and shall indemnify and hold harmless all of the indemnified parties from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, causes of action, suits and liability of every kind including all expenses of litigation, court costs and attorney’s fees for injury to or death of any person for damage to any property arising out of or in connection with the event, whether such injury, death or damages are caused by the sole negligence of the indemnified parties or the joint negligence of the indemnified parties and any other person or entity. I agree that this Waiver, Release and Indemnification Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and that the venue for litigation involving the indemnified parties shall be in a court of competent jurisdiction in Bandera County, Texas.

I/we, the undersigned, agree to participate in the 4th of July Parade on July 5th 2025 and to abide by the rules established by the Bandera Business Association. Furthermore, I/we recognize that the Bandera Business Association (BBA) and its

representatives are not responsible for the safety of entries: nor is the BBA responsible for any damage or injury caused by participation in the parade: and the participant(s) release in advance the BBA of any claim or injury. Failure to complete and sign ALL required signature areas will result in an incomplete application and no entry!
