JOB DESCRIPTION

i4 Insurance Talent (i4insurancetalent.com) is looking for a MANAGED CARE ASSISTANT UNDERWRITER. You will be based in any of Minneapolis, MN or Kansas City, KS or San Francisco, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• prepare/complete/supplement managed care proposals, renewals, etc. for underwriter review in compliance with corporate standards, guidelines, best practices, and account-specific considerations
• engage various parties as needed
• prepare correspondence, reports, etc. as needed
• build, maintain, and nurture key business relationships for mutual benefit, profitability, and service excellence
• review and distribute agreements, policies, amendments, and related documentation
• assist with organizing, maintaining, and continuously maintaining underwriting documentation

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• University degree
• 2+ years MS Office including MS Access
• 2+ years demonstrated success with minimal supervision
• 2+ years working in a diverse, dispersed community
• excellent command of English, both written and oral
• excellent business social skills

WHAT GIVES YOU AN EDGE:

• 2+ years Health reinsurance assistant underwriting experience
• 2+ years working successfully in a diverse, global, virtual team

Compensation and Benefits

• $50K - $70K+ base compensation depending on qualifications plus bonus
