Intro to 2D Animation

Design and animate characters and environments using Adobe Animate. Beginners will learn how to utilize the program to make their own simple animations, bringing ideas to life! This popular class provides an overview of Adobe Animate and the animation process, giving students a foundation in animation principles, timing, movement, and storytelling.

Intermediate 2D Gag Animation

In this workshop, students will learn the principles of comedic timing, exaggeration, and staging to create funny and expressive animations. Using Adobe Animate, students will study classic examples from animated shorts and apply those techniques to their own work. Prior experience with Adobe Animate is recommended.

Animation Storyboarding

This workshop introduces students to the art of storyboarding for animation. Using Photoshop, students will learn framing, composition, shot sequencing, and visual storytelling techniques to bring their ideas to life. Ideal for students interested in directing, animation, comic/manga design, or visual storytelling.

3D Props for Games

Bring your game worlds to life by modeling 3D props! In this workshop, students will use Blender to create game-ready models for exciting props. Learn essential techniques for low-poly modeling, UV unwrapping, and more to make props that can be imported into a game engine.

Voice Acting for Animation

Find your voice! This workshop explores voice acting techniques, script interpretation, and performance styles for animated characters. Students will record and edit their own voice lines using Adobe Audition, learning how to bring personality and emotion into their performances. A great course for aspiring voice actors and animators alike!

Character Design

Students will learn how to take original characters and develop them into unique and memorable designs. Using Photoshop, students will explore gesture, posing, anatomy, and composition to create compelling character concepts. This course focuses on shape language, silhouette, and storytelling through design.

Sound Design

Sound makes animation come alive! In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of sound design for animation, including recording, layering, and editing sound effects using Adobe Audition. Explore how sound shapes mood, enhances storytelling, and adds realism to animated projects.

VFX Sabers and Magic

Create stunning visual effects inspired by sci-fi and fantasy! Students will use Adobe After Effects to design glowing energy sabers, magical spells, and other cinematic effects. Learn the saber pluggin and other techniques to bring supernatural elements to life.

3D Animation

Animate in 3D! This workshop covers key principles of 3D animation, including posing, weight, timing, and acting. Students will work with a pre-rigged character to create expressive performances and dynamic movement. A great introduction to bringing digital characters to life!

3D Painting

Take 3D models to the next level with detailed textures and hand-painted effects! In this course, students will use Substance Painter to create realistic and stylized textures for 3D assets. Learn techniques such as baking maps, procedural texturing, and brush-based painting to make models pop.

VFX Superheros

Create electrifying superhero effects using Adobe After Effects! Students will learn how to make energy blasts, green screening, flying effects, and more through motion tracking and advanced compositing techniques. Perfect for fans of action-packed visual storytelling!

Motion Comic Design

Combine illustration and animation to create stunning motion comics! Using Photoshop and After Effects, students will learn how to animate panels, add dynamic text, and enhance storytelling through movement. This workshop is perfect for artists and storytellers who want to bring their comics to life.

Edit Your Own Movie Trailer

Edit together an exciting, professional-quality movie trailer! In this workshop, students will use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit footage, add music, and craft a compelling narrative through pacing and montage. Learn how editors build tension, emotion, and excitement through strategic cutting and sound design.

Unreal Environment Art & Level Design

Build immersive game environments using Unreal Engine! This workshop introduces students to level design, terrain sculpting, lighting, and material creation. Learn how to craft stunning 3D worlds, whether for games, virtual production, or interactive storytelling. No prior Unreal experience required!

Graphic Design for Video Games

Design UI elements, logos, and promotional artwork for video games! In this workshop, students will use Photoshop and Illustrator to create menus, HUDs, and game branding. Learn how strong visual design enhances gameplay experience and player engagement.
