Raukura Haka

Plan:

Have you seen kapa haka before? When we were up in LS2, I was scared because I was doing a haka in the hall. Then at 11:25 we went into the hall. There was a loud noise. Then it got quiet. Then we were singing a song and there was a loud noise then it got quiet.

I was scared until… The Raukura team showed up and they did a kapa haka. Then the boys did the All Blacks haka. It was fun but then we did it again but we had to turn around so the parents could see. I like when the guy is holding a stick, and telling how they fight and defend. Then they were doing 5 or 6 haka. It was cool. It was like they were in a war.

Then a teacher wanted to say thank you and for coming and teaching the boys the kapa haka and for giving them the maori clothes.

Then we got split up. We were with Room 4. We were playing a game called Simon Says

(Māori version). It was me vs Riley. Everyone was out. Then.... we both got out. Since me and Riley lost we played 1 more game. Then after that he asked questions about the maori shell and how to blow in it.

When we were going back to LS2 to get our chromebook to go back to our class. I like it because when there was a girl she had the hardest weapon it was called the long poi.
