Choral Retreat 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians:

The Canterbury Choral Ensembles are preparing for our annual Choral Retreat. The retreat will take place at CAMMAC, Harrington, Québec, where the Intermediate students will receive two days of intense choral development/training, and the Senior students will receive three days.

The goals of the retreat are:

1. to prepare the music for the 2017-2018 season;
2. to learn more about oneself and each other;
3. to build team spirit at the heart of the vocal program at Canterbury High School.

Grade 9 & 10 Vocal students and Non-Vocal studente:

Cost:

Grade 9 & 10                $125

Grade 11 & 12                $185

Cost includes transportation, room and board, all activities, and rehearsal space. There will be adequate supervision at all times. Please email me your name/phone number if you are interested in being one of our supervising volunteers. In case of emergency, you may contact us during the retreat at 819-426-2191.

Please bring your payment to Mr. Caswell before 15 Sep (cash or personal cheque made out to “Canterbury High School”. Although the choral retreat is an optional activity for members of all choirs, our sincere hope is that everyone is able to participate. If your child cannot attend, we would like to know the reason.
