Starting in 2019, the University of Nebraska, the College of Agricultural Sciences Natural Resources, and the Animal Science Department have made the commitment to hire a full time Rodeo Coach to take the University of Nebraska College Rodeo Program to the next level. With the hire of a full time coach, the University of Nebraska College Rodeo Program now has a structured practice schedule, quality practice stock, and a program that emphasizes servant leadership, respect, good attitudes, and communication. Along with these changes, we are developing a growing scholarship program and expanding leadership opportunities within the University of Nebraska.
The Nebraska College Rodeo Program is committed to serving our students with a high quality education along with the opportunity to rodeo within the Great Plains College Rodeo Region and host the Nebraska Cornhusker College Rodeo.

SDSU is centrally located in the Great Plains Region of the NIRA at Brookings, SD. During the fall and spring seasons we hold daily scheduled practices, have indoor/outdoor practice facilities, provide practice stock for every event, and receive full support from SDSU faculty for excused travel passes for missed classes.
“Come for the Education. Rodeo with Tradition.” Our team is comprised of Nursing, Pharmacy, Ag Business, Engineering, Animal Science, and many other majors that are offered here at SDSU. DAWSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Dawson Community College located in Glendive Montana has a rich rodeo history of 50 years. Recently awarded the Great Montana College Rodeo Program at the 2020 Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame Banquet, Dawson plans to grow their rodeo program with the hiring of new coach Shaylee Hance. With access to an indoor arena and great practice stock from Eiker Pro Rodeo and J Bar J the quality of practice is unmatched. Dodge City Community College would like to have all rodeo athlete’s looking to further their education while competing in college rodeo’s, to check our school and program out.  Head rodeo coach Jarrod Ford has grown up around all aspects of rodeo, competing as well as helping produce rodeo’s.  Jarrod is a former NIRA Final’s qualifier in the Bareback riding as well as Bull riding, he also qualified 2 times to the Wrangler National Finals in the bull riding.  Our school looks to give you a great education as well as great opportunities to practice and compete in college rodeo.  We have a nice insulated  indoor practice arena  with bucking and roping chutes, as well as a outdoor roping arena.  Stalls for your horse’s all have cover, automatic waters, as well as mounted feeder’s.  We keep plenty of good practice stock and give you plenty of opportunity to ride, rope and better your skills to be competitive in the Central Plains Region.
