The battle to this point went poorly.

The other troops I got sent here with were dispatched in an ambush. After running for what seemed like a full hour, I came face to face with the world’s most dangerous weapon of mass destruction. The devil in mechanical form.

The ambush wasn't over of course. The Russian Federation's soldiers followed me all the way.

Their eyes were blank, mouths agape as if they were gasping for air.

But their aim was true - and they were aiming at me.

"Sir! Cain has met up with "Satan". Should we start up a call to Mr. Sergeyev?"

"The Kremlin has lost."

"I assume you understand the position you're in. Give up "Satan" to us and I will ensure your good standing with the President. Don't - and face consequences."

"You don't get it. "Satan" isn't anyone's property."

"Nobody can control the devil."

The alarm pierced my ears - it was time to go.

The launch has already started. At best I might have about fifteen minutes. These missiles were built to launch fast.

In a lack of any better ideas; I went with what I knew best, ignoring warning signs put up there by smarter men.

I wasn't going to let a Nuke just launch God-knows where.

For all I knew it might not even be fully working, It might just explode right there on the spot.

Either way, it would be bad.

Blood. Gushing out everywhere, from what seemed to just be a regular nuclear missile control panel.

Nervous system.

I see. So that's why they called you Satan.

Are you really the fallen angel himself? Hiding away in the world's most hideous weapon?

We'll find out.

The beast lunged for my neck, biting right through my artery, almost piercing my throat. He was hungry.

There wasn't any thought to it, it was like it didn't even see me as human, I was just food.

The only thing I had left was the nail Sebastian gave me. I clutched it tight and wished for the best.

When I came to, the whole warehouse was in ruins. There was so sight of the missile or the Russian military. My wounds were slightly better, implying I've probably been here for a while.

In front of me, stood him. What was before just a soul trying to break free was now a bunch of flesh forming together into a humanoid form.

He looked ravenous.

He was... not too bad looking.
