For many years now, many people, mostly liberals, have been trying to destroy Christmas.  They have tried to remove Christ from Christmas.  They have tried to destroy the family.  They have tried to distract people.  

To try to remove Christ from Christmas, liberals have banned the phrase “Merry Christmas.”  Workers in stores have been told not to tell their customers “Merry Christmas.”  Instead, they are told to say, “Happy holiday.”  

It is important to note that liberals have failed to remove Christ.  The word “holiday” is a compound word - “holy”  plus “day.”  This combination makes the phrase, “Happy holy-day.”  

Many Christians are offended by the phrase, “Happy holiday.”  I encourage you not to be offended by “Happy holiday.”  Instead, say, “Yes, Christmas is a holy day.”  

Second, liberals are trying to destroy strong men, tough men.  Long ago, men were tough, because they had to hunt and gather food for their families.  Now liberals are trying to make men weak.  Now we allow gay marriage.  More children are growing up without both a father and a mother.  Children need a strong father and a tender mother.  Liberals are trying to destroy the family.  

Lastly, liberals try to make people busy at Christmas time.  Stores offer major deals and encourage people to ignore their families.  People might get busy preparing their homes for gatherings.  

Liberals want people to forget that long ago, Mary gave birth to a son - Jesus.  He lived for 33 years and died - he was killed as a sacrifice for our salvation.  

Lastly, I say, merry Cristmas and happy holy-day.
