Greetings YHS students & families,
Although this is a very strange situation we find ourselves in right now, we want to make sure you are getting the best education we can provide from afar. These hallways are just not the same without you in them. We continue to hope that we will all be back together again soon. Please do your very best while you are away from us, and work hard on your schoolwork. Your teachers will also be communicating through email, Google Classroom, and Zoom. High school students should be devoting time each day to check the Google Classroom for each class, and making sure they are submitting assignments on time. Paper packets will be available by Tuesday for high school students who don’t have internet connections at home.
Families, we thank you for taking up this very important task of continuing the education of your children. We know that these are difficult times, but we want to make sure that all of our Yoemen are getting to sharpen their academic skills as we are separated. The teachers are available to answer questions through email and Google Classroom. We want to make this system as successful as possible. We are also working on internet options for families who do not currently have access.
We can’t thank you enough for helping to keep those brains working as we are apart! Please contact us with questions or needs. Don’t forget that we are handing out meals each day, and making WiFi on the campuses more available to those who might want to park cars and connect to their devices. We do encourage everyone to please continue practicing social distancing. The more we follow this, the faster we will be back to our normal schedule.

Saludos Estudiantes y familias de YHS,
Aunque estas circunstancias si son un poco extrañas para todos, queremos asegurarnos que están recibiendo la mejor educación posible aun sea de lejos. Estos pasillos no son lo mismo sin ustedes. Esperamos que nos encontremos juntos lo más pronto posible. Por favor hagan lo mejor de su habilidad mientras están lejos de nosotros, y continúen trabajando duro en su tarea. Sus maestros/ maestras tambien estaran comunicando por correo electrónico, Google Classroom, y Zoom. Los estudiantes deben de estar dedicando tiempo cada día para revisar Google Classroom por cada clase, y asegurándose que sus tareas y asignaciones están siendo entregadas a tiempo. Paquetes van hacerse disponible para estudiantes que no tienen acceso a internet en casa.
Familias, les agradecemos por tomar este tarea grande continuando la educación de sus hijos. Sabemos que estos momentos son difíciles, pero queremos asegurarnos que todos nuestro Yoemen están agudizando sus habilidades académicas mientras estamos separados. No podemos agradecerles lo suficiente en mantener esos cerebros trabajando mientras estamos separados. Por favor contáctenos con cualquier duda que tengan o necesidad. No se les olvide que estamos pasando almuerzos todo los dias, y estamos haciendo acceso a WiFi más accesible para los que lo ocupen. Si animamos que todos continúen practicando la distancia social.
