Kai-Syuan Features/Highlights
Located in Yilan County, Kai-Syuan Elementary School’s mission is to help students maintain health, find happiness, achieve excellence, and cultivate innovation. This mission is achieved via four main goals:
A medium-sized school, Kai-Syuan Elementary has three classes per grade except Grade 3. From Grade 1 to Grade 6, this is a total of 17 classes. In addition, the school has four kindergarten classes where students’ ages are between three to six.
One unique offering of Kai-Syuan Elementary is the Food and Agriculture class (食農教育). Here, students are offered the opportunity to plant and make their own food, such as yam, corn, and strawberry.
The school also offers remedial classes. This ensures that all students receive the attention they need to succeed in school.
Extracurricular Activities
Kai-Syuan Elementary is most well-known for its soccer team. The team competes around the country and has won many awards.
