3 ingredient Black Bean Burger
Ready in 20 minutes
Serves 2-3 people
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp salsa
- 1 can black beans
- 3/4 cup crushed vegan croutons or breadcrumbs
Preparation
- Rinse and drain beans
- Mash beans in a bowl
- If using croutons coarsely mash then add to beans. If using bread crumbs then just add them to beans.
- Add Salsa and mix
- Season with your favorite burger seasoning
- Form patties from mixture and place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 20 mins
- On medium heat pan fry with oil for 2 minutes on each side
Tips
When forming patties try and squeeze out as much juice as possible. This will help prevent the burgers from having a mushy consistency.
