Whether it’s been a family member, a friend or a neighbor, so many of our lives have been affected by pediatric cancer.  September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center is joining the battle in raising awareness and funds for cutting edge, lifesaving research.

On Sunday, September 24, 2017, Oakeside will host the 2nd Annual Pediatric Cancer Awareness Walk.  100% of the net profit from the event will be donated to a team in the Cycle For Survival event.  That team is named Megan’s Miracle Makers, in memory of Megan Macaluso, a Bloomfield child who was taken at age 19 by pediatric cancer.

At 9 AM, rain or shine, the walkers will depart the Oakeside mansion for a three-mile walk through Bloomfield.  At the end of the walk, all participants will be provided light refreshments.

If you are unable to participate, and would like to make a donation, please fill out the information below and mail it with a check payable to OBCC to:  OBCC Attn; Kim Reilly, 240 Belleville Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ  07003
