TITLE SPECIFIC NOTICES:


1. General Competition Rules

All members and students involved in NJCAAE competition must follow the General Competition Rules.

2. Teams

2.1. Tournament Teams

A “team” will consist of no less than four (4) Players designated as starters and up to two (2) substitutes. Multiple teams from each Eligible Institution will be allowed to participate in the Tournament.

2.1.1. Substitutes

Each Team may designate up to two (2) substitute Players. These Players may freely substitute in and replace starters during the Season. Teams may utilize any eligible substitute who is present on their Roster.

2.2. Roster Requirements

2.2.1. Players

All players must be on roster on the designated competition platform prior to the scheduled start of the match. A player that has been added after the start of the match shall not be eligible to compete.

3. Tournament Structure

3.1. Matches

3.3.1. Hosting

Teams must follow the map host order:

Home Team is the team that is marked ‘Home Team’ on the LeagueOS match page or has the higher seed (playoffs). The Home Team or the higher seeded team must choose to act as Team A or Team B.

3.2. Game

CoD: 4v4 will take place on CoD: Modern Warfare 3.

3.3. Ties

There are no ties for this game title.

3.4. Match Specific Restarts

There are no match specific restarts.

4. Restrictions

4.1. Cosmetics (updated 2-27-24 5:08PM EST)

Only base operator skins are allowed. Gun skins and charms are not restricted.

5. Match Details

5.1. Map Selection

Hardpoint

Team A bans one map.

Team B bans one map.

Team A picks Map 1 from the remaining maps.

Team B picks Map 4 from the remaining maps.

Search and Destroy

Team B bans one map.

Team A bans one map.

Team B picks Map 2 from the remaining maps.

Team A picks Map 5 form the remaining maps.

Control

Team A bans one map.

Team B picks Map 3 from the remaining maps.

5.1.1. Game Mode Rotation & Order

The game mode will alternate every game between the following modes:

5.1.2. Lobby Responsibilities

Unless a ping test is required to determine the host team, the home team shall be responsible for lobby creation and ensuring all rules are set and established. A lobby invite shall be sent to the away team.

The away team shall be responsible for ensuring all rules and settings are correct.

5.1.3. Server Selection

Prior to the match, If both teams cannot agree on a host to use, each team will attempt a ping/host test to gauge the ping difference between each other. Whichever host provides the most balanced ping difference between the two teams will host the match. Once the host has been determined, they will create the lobby for the match.

5.2. Lobby Requirements

Lobbies are to be set to invite only.

Pre Match Requirement: 8 players

5.3. Match Settings

Unless otherwise specified, all games will be played using the in-game “CDL Rule” settings if available for all 4v4 game modes.

5.3.1 Match Settings Continued

The Default CDL settings in private match should be used for Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Control. CDL settings will default to below for each game mode.
