- Provides an emergency shelter for men with access to meals, permanent housing, employment and spiritual assistance. Makes referrals to appropriate services for those with substance abuse and mental health issues. Case managers are available to provide assistance.

- The Salvation Army’s Emergency Family Shelter is the only family shelter in Onondaga County licensed by the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. With 81 beds and 10 cribs, we provide temporary emergency housing and counseling services for homeless families of any configuration, including extended families, men with children, older male children and single pregnant women. Crisis counseling, comprehensive social work assessment services and linkages to community resources for aftercare support are provided to secure and maintain permanent housing.

- The Salvation Army’s Women’s Shelter provides temporary emergency housing for adult women without children, who have serious mental health problems and psychiatric disabilities. Crisis counseling, comprehensive social work support services, mental health services and linkages to community resources are provided to help the women obtain housing stability, income supports, mental health treatment and supportive services. The Women's Shelter has 15 beds and 16 subsidized one bedroom apartments.

- Each year, The Salvation Army provides valuable services to more than 2,000 teens in our community, from a variety of backgrounds. These youth are served according to their need and our capacity to help - regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

- Barnabas Shelter is a co-ed group facility offering short-term emergency housing for up to six homeless young adults, ages 18-24. Participants typically receive shelter services for up to 2-4 weeks, oftentimes enabling them to become enrolled in our long-term transitional housing apartments or our rapid rehousing rental assistance program. There is no cost associated with Barnabas Shelter, however, you must telephone in advance to ensure space is available.

- Booth House was the first runaway shelter in New York to operate under the New York State Runaway and Homeless Youth Act and certified by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).It is a shelter and counseling service for runaway and homeless youth, ages 13-17 (those younger than 13 will be determined on a case by case basis). During times of crisis, youth are able to access shelter services for up to 60 days (longer with approval). Services may be initiated by contacting our 24-hour hotline. In addition, Booth House offers a variety of crisis services including family mediation, case management, home schooling, living skills and recreational activities. The principles of youth development are integrated into each of the programs offered at Booth House. The voluntary aspects of the program are fully reinforced and Booth House incorporates youth participation in program activities, as well as program decision-making. This is a best practice method designed to achieve optimum engagement from youth receiving services. There is no cost to participate in this program

Over 2,400 families annually are assisted with prescription co-pays, clothing, utility payments, household storage, and more. Our downtown food pantry serves over 400 families every month.

- Our Men’s Shelter on South Clinton Street can host 100 men struggling with homelessness every night. Case management services are available to help individuals find and keep stable housing.

- We offer support for families and individuals who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless in the city of Syracuse. The agency works with a range of community supporters and other organizations to help people find stable housing.

- The Transitional Living Program (TLP) provides homeless youth with stable, safe living accommodations for up to 21 months. The TLP provides services to help young people develop skills necessary to move to independence and life as healthy, productive adults.

Internet
- Verizon is adding an additional 15GB to all its consumer and small business plans at no extra cost, including those on shared data plans. Verizon will waive late fees and will not terminate service. It is also offing new internet options for low income households.
- AT&T is waiving its domestic wireless voice and data overage fees nationwide. AT&T will not terminate the service of any wireless, home phone or broadband customers because of their inability to pay their bill. The company will also be expanding it’s low cost home broadband service. AT&T offers open hot-spots, unlimited data to existing customers, and $10/month plans to low income families
- Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
- Spectrum will be offering free access to its broadband and WiFi for new K-12 and college student households for 60 days. It will also be opening its WiFi hotspots for public use.
- Comcast offers free Wi-Fi for 2 months to low income families plus all Xfinity hot-spots are free to the public during this time
- T-Mobile is expanding its network capacity and roaming access across the nation for Sprint customers.

- Education publishing company McGraw-Hill is offering free access, training and support for its digital learning platforms McGraw-Hill Connect and ALEKS.
- Online textbook library Perlego is offering free access to its repository of more than 300,000 titles for the next six weeks.
- Offering free access to Creative Cloud tools through May for home use by students attending schools that currently only provide lab access through May.
- Free access to Docusign for managing electronic agreements.
- Free tech support to anyone working or studying remotely right now.
- Reimburse you up to $50 for essential goods and groceries purchased on your SNAP card.
- Free 16 learning courses that provide tips on how to stay productive, build relationships when you’re not face-to-face, use virtual meeting tools and balance family and work dynamics in a healthy way.
- Free stories for kids of all ages to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet. For as long as schools are closed, we're open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.

The Jesuit Fund: Emergency Aid for Students
- We are blessed to have a community that is empathic, strong, resilient & nimble. Many members of the Le Moyne community have reached out to see how they can help our students. One answer is to support the Jesuit Fund. Gifts to this fund allows us to answer calls for help made by our students in emergency situations like COVID-19. Some of our students are struggling to meet basic needs like food & shelter, or are unable to afford the technology to support their new remote learning requirements
- Please submit a form for emergency assistance from The Jesuit Fund: Emergency Student Aid at Le Moyne College. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill all requests at the amount requested. We will review these requests on a rolling basis and will get back to you as soon as possible.
